Hello friends, it’s day three of isolation for me and I’m back on my goddamn website with another update to the gigs list. The big news is that Prague Fringe – the festival for which I’d been preparing my new show (Collected Jokes, Poems and Thoughts 2010-2020) has been POSTPONED until ‘Autumn’. This is a disappointment in some ways, an inevitability in others and something of a boon as far as my wallet is concerned as, thus far, I had failed to book any travel or accommodation.
In the living room of our shared house (five housemates, which has been a blessing as I can’t think how I’d cope isolated on my own) a Twitch pub quiz is about to take place. I’ve been trying to come up with some idea of how to cash in on the big-time streaming boom which is coming but as yet have failed to have any ideas beyond streaming my 11.00 a.m. coffee break on Facebook live (peak viewers: 17). I’ll be sure to keep you updated as and when I have my first good idea.
